It's 2 AM and I'm still coding. There's something about the late night hours that makes the creative flow just... work. No distractions, no notifications, just me and the code.

I've been working on a new game project - a small pixel art RPG about a bird finding its way home. It's been challenging but incredibly rewarding. Every time I fix a bug or get a new feature working, I feel a rush of excitement.

I also discovered a new library that makes animations so much smoother. I spent the last three hours just playing with it, creating little particle effects and watching them dance across the screen. This is what I love about programming - the endless possibilities to create something from nothing.

The little sparrow I've been caring for is finally getting stronger! When I first found her, she had a hurt wing and couldn't fly. It's been a month of careful feeding, giving her medicine, and watching her slowly recover.

Today was a big milestone - she flew across the room for the first time! It was only a short distance, but she did it! I almost cried. It's amazing how much joy a tiny creature can bring into your life.

I've been reading a lot about bird rehabilitation techniques and learning so much. Did you know that different birds need different diets? And that they can form strong bonds with humans who care for them? I've definitely formed a bond with this little one - she chirps when I walk into the room now.

I think she'll be ready to release back into the wild in a few more weeks. I'll miss her, but I know that's the goal - to help them return to their natural habitat.

Started a new digital art project today! I'm creating a series of illustrations based on dreams I've had. There's something so surreal about dream imagery - the way things blend together and logic doesn't quite apply.

I'm using Procreate on my iPad and trying out some new brushes. The first piece is about a forest where the trees are made of glass and you can see all the little creatures living inside them. It's whimsical and a bit strange, but I love it.

I've been experimenting with color palettes too - lots of purples and teals mixed with soft pinks. It's giving everything a dreamy, ethereal quality. I'm excited to see where this series goes!

Found a new coffee shop today! It's tucked away in a little corner of the city and has the most amazing atmosphere. There are plants everywhere, mismatched furniture, and the smell of fresh coffee and cinnamon fills the air.

I ordered a lavender latte (my new favorite) and sat by the window to do some writing. There's something about being in a cozy space with other people quietly working around you that makes me so productive.

The barista was really friendly too - we ended up chatting about music and she recommended some new artists to listen to. I love these small, unexpected connections with people.

I think this is going to become my new regular spot. I'm already planning what I'll work on next time I come here!
